What’s new for SharePoint – April 2025

April brought an impressive batch of SharePoint updates, and two of them really caught my attention. These exciting changes will transform how teams work with SharePoint while adding some much-needed visual flair.

Microsoft is rolling out Viva Connections cards integration with SharePoint agents, creating a more interactive conversation experience right where you work. This smart addition lets you engage with information cards directly in your conversations without switching contexts.

Additionally, the SharePoint experience is getting a much-needed visual refresh with multi-color themes. Site owners will soon have access to eight new out-of-the-box themes through the Site branding feature, finally breaking free from limited color schemes.

These are just the updates that caught my eye this month! Check out the full blog post to see all the other SharePoint improvements coming your way. What features are you most looking forward to? Drop a comment below and let me know which updates will make the biggest difference for your team.
