Hide the navigation and the header in modern SharePoint pages

Displaying a modern SharePoint page without the navigation and the header have generated all sort of hacks over the years that try to replicate the famous ?isDlg=1 and the focus mode from classic SharePoint by manipulating the DOM and injecting custom css.

I’ve recently discovered the query string that can be used with modern SharePoint site URLs to strip the pages from all its elements living it just with the content.

Get prepared for the modern search experience in classic SharePoint sites

Four years have passed since the introduction of modern SharePoint and the modern experience continues to take over the classic features, the last victim is the search.

Starting late January 2021 classic Team sites will gradually start receiving the modern search experience, meaning that the search bar will be moved to the suite navigation bar.

How to use SharePoint Spaces in school to create interactive classes

SharePoint Spaces is a mixed reality vision that brings 2D and 3D e experiences to your intranet creating new ways to interact with data or as explained in this article interactives classes for schools.

Based on the questions that I received about SharePoint Spaces I can tell that people is a bit skeptical about investing time in this new feature, either because of the 3D experience or because it’s still in preview.

There is nothing to worry about SharePoint Spaces, even though it is 3D it doesn’t mean that is mandatory to use VR glasses to interact with it and about the final version it will happen before the end of 2020 as announced in the last Microsoft Ignite.
